I feel like I need to bombard this new blog with updates and information on me and my life, not only in all of my past (recent and late), but also with massive daily posts of me jumping into my daily thoughts.
I'm not going to do that.
Instead, I'm going to post slowly. Step-by-step. With whatever I think I should prioritize or make public. So right now, I'm going to post about Aldi's. Yes, Aldi's supermarket.
Aldi's became a lifesaver when I was living within extreme budget limits in Baltimore, MD. (Don't worry, I'll find time to make a thorough post about my life in Baltimore before moving out to California.) But in brief, Aldi's is a relatively new national treasure in terms of groceries and general home goods. First off, make sure you download their app and get their specials and deals planned ahead of time.
Today, I happened to go for orange juice (which is almost half-priced compared to supermarket brands) and any frozen dinner under $3. I got a box of corndogs for approximately $2 and a beautiful carton of fresh, pulpy OJ for less than $3. Check!
Of course, I couldn't leave without picking up some other deals that caught my eye...
I got a pack of Goldfish crackers (yes, the name brand!) for less than $1.50! And I also packed a bunch of fresh asparagus at less than a dollar. Aldi's also sells an impressive assortment of wine/beer for crazy deals! I didn't get any today, but now I know where I can go for an affordable stock-up!

Oh, this is a selfie of me around 6:58am... I got to work early (as is my usual routine), parked my car, realized the weather and sunshine was beautiful, and snapped a shot in the parking lot.
